CUSTOMER ACQUISITION FRAMEWORK

No
Customer.
No Business.

Every business runs on the same four questions.

GET FOUND. GET TRUSTED. GET CHOSEN. GET PAID.

HOW A CUSTOMER MOVES

1

GET FOUND

Can they find you?

2

GET TRUSTED

Can they see you?

3

GET CHOSEN

Why should they pick you?

4

GET PAID

Does the choice become revenue?

The Customer Acquisition Framework is a practical model for understanding where a business is losing customers and what to fix next. It examines four stages of customer acquisition: Get Found, Get Trusted, Get Chosen, and Get Paid.

Developed by Sandy Thielamay - CEO, SEVAKOR

What Is a Customer Acquisition Framework?

A Customer Acquisition Framework is a structured way to understand how a business attracts and converts customers. The SEVAKOR Customer Acquisition Framework organizes that process around four permanent questions: Can customers find you? Do they trust you? Why should they choose you? And does that choice become revenue? We call these four stages Get Found, Get Trusted, Get Chosen, and Get Paid.

THE REAL PROBLEM

You've Been Told You Need Everything

SEO. Social. Ads. A better website. AI. Email. Sales training. Reviews. Lead generation.

Pick one. There's a guru for it, a tool for it, a course for it. Most owners end up buying a little of everything and still can't say why customers pick someone else. Here's the problem.

Those are all tools. None of them tell you what's actually broken.

Before you choose a tactic, ask a simpler question: Where is your customer acquisition process actually breaking down?

THE FRAMEWORK

Four Questions. One Framework.

Look at your business the way a customer does, in order.

01 - GET FOUND

Can they find you?

You can't be chosen if you never make the list.

02- GET TRUSTED

Do they trust you?

Customers use signals to decide whether you're safe to hire.

03 - GET CHOSEN

Why should they pick you?

Clarity and confidence make the decision easier.

04 - GET PAID

Does the yes become revenue?

Follow-through closes the loop and turns intent into a customer.

01

GET FOUND

Can Customers Actually Find You?

You can't be chosen if you never make the list.

Before someone can trust you, choose you, or pay you, they have to find you. Search. AI answers. Referrals. Word of mouth. Directories. Social. It doesn't matter which door they walk through — if you're not visible where people already look, you're out of the running before it starts. Most businesses assume they have a marketing problem.

Sometimes they have a visibility problem. Those aren't the same thing, and they aren't fixed the same way.

02

GET TRUSTED

Once They Find You, Do They Trust You?

Customers can't judge who's actually the best. So they look for signals instead.

Almost no customer can objectively evaluate whether you do better work than your competitor. They don't have the expertise, and they don't have the time. So they read reviews. They check how fast you respond. They look at your photos, your website,  and how clearly you explain what you do.

None of that proves you're good at the job. It proves you're safe to trust. And trust is what lowers the risk of picking you.

03

GET CHOSEN

Why Should They Choose You?

Customers rarely pick the best business. They pick the one that makes the decision easiest and safest.

Being good at what you do isn't a differentiator — your competitors are good too, or claim to be. What separates you is how clear, responsive, and easy you make the decision to hire you.

Confusion loses customers as often as competition does. If someone can't quickly tell what you do, why you're different, or what happens next, they'll pick the business that made that obvious instead.

GET PAID

04

Can You Turn That Choice Into Revenue?

Being liked isn't the finish line. Getting paid is.

A customer can find you, trust you, and decide to hire you — and you can still lose them. A slow follow-up. A quote that never gets sent. A call that goes unanswered. An unclear next step.

Customer acquisition doesn't end at "yes." It ends when that "yes" turns into a paying customer. A lot of businesses lose more revenue right here than anywhere else in the process — not because customers changed their minds, but because nobody closed the loop.

PUT IT TOGETHER

Four Questions. One Goal: Your Next Customer.

Most businesses don't have a marketing problem. They have a specific, identifiable break somewhere in this chain.

THE OPERATOR'S LENS

Built by Doing, Not Theorizing

This didn't come from a textbook. It came from thirty years of observing customers decide.

This framework wasn't invented for a course. It came out of decades spent building, selling, and operating businesses — including 3 that were built and later sold, one worth more than a billion dollars.

Along the way, one pattern kept showing up: the businesses that struggled to grow rarely had a talent problem. They had a customer acquisition problem, and most of them couldn't see it clearly enough to fix it.

Before any of that, this started smaller — watching a mother run a small shop near a primary school in Mauritius, and seeing, up close, why some customers walked in and others walked past.
